One of the obstacles for the company-wide deployment of Windows 7 is the restrictive User Account Control. As 'normal' users the employees often do not have administrative privileges needed to use legacy software. However, admin rights are not granted for safety reasons. LOGINstall solves this problem. It is as easy to use as the LOGINventory console application. Concurrently with LOGINventory5.1.5 we finalized the first Release Candidate of the Windows PowerShell Add-on: the scripting interface for Windows PowerShell 2.0 enables accessing, processing and managing all of the information in the LOGINventory5 database.

Our Windows network inventory software's scan module has been redesigned and now provides a dramatically increased performance in most of the cases. It gets all of the information from the network's IT asset data now even faster. Also a couple of small improvements were integrated, known bugs were fixed, and LOGINventory5.1 is available in English and German language now. All updates within the main version 5 are free.
