LOGINstall.ini

The definition of executable commands in the LOGINstall service (KISVC) is carried out by the central file LOGINstall.ini (see: inifile parameter in the registry).

In the LOGINstall.ini there is a section for each available command ("command section") with the name of the command and various parameters.

This command section is necessary to install applications with the client program KIS, or with the "computer setup" of LOGINstall Menu. To also perform "user setups" with LOGINstall Menu, every command requires a so-called "user section" in the LOGINstall.ini.

The parameter "Executable" and "CheckFile" must exist. The other parameters are optional.

To make the configuration generally available, a network path to the LOGINstall.ini is set during the administrative installation. This path is written to the client installation in the registry and can not be changed without administrator privileges .
