BugFixes:

• LOGINfo.ini: The (obsolete) command !defaultscan causes LOGINfo to stop processing the INI-file; the following lines will be ignored.

• Setup: It is not possible to enter a UNC path for the DATA directory during Setup.

• LOGINfo: Using SNMP inventory, the PCname now will be read from OID “system.sysName” and no longer via reverse DNS lookup: this can result in a different value.
  The previous behavior can be enforced using switch
  • in LOGINfo.ini:     !SET NoSysName=1
  • in command line: //NoSysName 1

  As the PCname is the default source for the unique identifier (PCUID), a couple of duplicate assets might be inserted into the database, which consume extra licenses. If no more licenses are available, these new assets will be inserted as “Faulty Assets”.

  There are two possible solutions:

  1. If you would like to keep the history data for the “old” assets, you have the possibility to use the function “reassign PCUID” from the LMC (see chapter 4.1.3.2 in the manual) in order to assign the new PCUID to the “old” assets.
  2. If you are not interested in history data , simply delete those assets with previous PCname / PCUID.

  Both procedures will release the licenses of the duplicates.

• LOGINfo: Inventory of assets in non-trusted domains and workgroups for Windows Vista and later; just like it is possible for Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP .
• LOGINfo: Improved SNMP inventory for VMware, Linux, Macs and other assets.
