About the Frog, the Stork and the Perfect Solution

Once upon a time there was a small, friendly village situated near a wonderful pond. There lived the merriest green frogs you could imagine. For some time, however, you could rarely hear laughter over the pond, because a serious concern oppressed the frogs very much: the migration of the storks. Twice a year, with the beginning of late autumn or spring, the storks – on their flight to and from Africa – passed by the small pond, landed to recover from their efforts and ate as many frogs as they could. Then they continued migrating perfectly happy while the frogs' village went into deep mourning.

One fine day, with the approaching autumnal migration of the storks, the frogs plucked up some courage to change the situation. They thought it over again and again, croaking all night long, but the problem couldn't be solved. Because the small wonderful pond was far and away the only one. In sheer desperation they called for help from outside. A consultant came and received the instruction to settle the problem with the storks.

Time passed by, until the consultant returned and reported his idea: "Here is the perfect solution. In autumn, when the storks migrate from north to south, you start a few days earlier and fly towards them. In spring you just do the same in the opposite direction. As usual the storks will settle in your village, but won't find anybody there. Sooner or later they will have to look for a new place for a rest if they don't want to starve."

LOGIN-StorchThe frogs became very enthusiastic. They began to laugh heartily and drank to the perfect solution. When suddenly the eldest frog's voice was heard, talking to the consultant: "Great, dear consultant, your solution seems to be perfect. But I'm afraid you forgot to take an important factor into your considerations: We cannot fly!" In a cool way the consultant looked at the eldest frog and replied with his head raised: "You asked for a good idea. Here it is. I am not responsible for its realization."

Hard-hitting Concepts and Successful Solutions

The perfect solution? We don't believe in it. Because it succeeds at other people's expense and makes you feel dissatisfied. What we believe in is the development of methods that lead to the desired aims. Our thoughts will sometimes fly, but we prefer sticking to the facts. And we do not only have good ideas, but also feel responsible for their realization.
